What you can make

Start with the plain version. In a chat with one of Candy's AI characters, you can ask for a picture and get one back. Each image costs four tokens. That is the cheapest rung on the ladder, and it is where most people begin.

Next rung: image to video. You hand Candy a picture and it animates it into a clip of five, ten, fifteen or twenty seconds, or a long one of sixty, with the price in tokens rising by length. Chats add two shortcuts: a Video mode that answers a request with a clip, and a Scene Video button that captures five seconds of the current moment.

Top rung: the Studio, titled Make your own movie. Expect dozens of characters with body filters, a few dozen actions (some run up to a minute, others are short tease moves), a location and a partner to pick, and up to ten scenes per movie. Candy shows the cost table on its own pages, so we point to it rather than copy numbers that may change.

What you need, and what is off limits

The short answer is Premium. Creating needs a paid membership, which also brings a monthly token allowance, endless messaging and the adults-only pictures and videos. On the latest price check the cheapest way in was the yearly plan, $3.99 a month with $47.88 taken per year, while quarterly and monthly plans cost more per month. Renewal is automatic, though Candy states that cancelling is possible from settings whenever you like.

Tokens are the second ingredient. The plan hands you 100 each month, and subscribers can also buy token packs. Unused tokens may or may not carry over, and we could not confirm which, so do not budget on the assumption that they do.

Now the fence. The generator works with Candy's own AI characters, never with real people. You cannot feed it a photo of someone you know and expect it to play along, and no gallery curator would help you try. The wall stays firm there, and so does the gallery.

How it connects to the Shorts

Candy Shorts are the finished films: vertical mini-series of about a minute per episode, each with a poster. The generator is the do-it-yourself side of the same house. One produces what Candy's team made for everyone; the other produces what you ask for, for yourself.

The two meet in an odd place. After watching a series, you may fancy a stab at your own scene in that spirit, with a different character or a different location. The Studio is the nearest thing Candy offers to that, though it makes its own movies rather than extending any series.
