Addicted to my stepdad

Curator’s note

Kasia is trapped in a relationship that keeps disappointing her. Her boyfriend cheats, apologizes badly and repeats the cycle, and she keeps looking for a way out that she cannot quite find. Meanwhile her attention is elsewhere, fixed on her stepdad, and the craving becomes harder to hide with every scene. We have no subtitles for this one, so our curators stay general: the series is long, ten episodes in all, with the tension building gradually in a noir mood. Two parts are free, and each later one costs twelve tokens.

Inside the frame

A family home with a restless guest, a love life in disarray and an attraction that nobody is allowed to name. The taboo is the stepfather, and the free part keeps to looks, silences and tension.

Best seen: For midnight viewers who prefer slow-burn longing to fireworks, and a heroine who knows better.
