Christmas With My Girlfriend's Stepsister

Curator’s note

For the holidays Kenzie flies home, and her stepsister's partner offers a lift. Episode 1 is the drive: a reminder to watch the road, a phone call from the stepsister and an account of the trip that is a little too cheerful. By the time they reach the house, they are rehearsing their story. Kenzie is wearing a very festive costume and carries a present that is meant for after midnight. We only have subtitles for the first episode, so our curators stop there. Five episodes in all, with the first two free.

Inside the frame

A holiday homecoming, a driver who knows better and a passenger with a very clear agenda. The forbidden line is family, and the free part keeps to the car, the doorway and a wrapped gift.

Best seen: Hang this one in December, for a night with mulled wine, a red glow and a naughty list.
