Step-Sister's Secret

Curator’s note

Eva sits in the therapist's chair to confess an obsession with the fiance of her own stepsister. Episode 1 is her confession, intercut with a scenic drive in which stepsisters, apparently, share everything: the car, the road and the passenger. Episode 2 revisits a foggy glass shower door, a decision not to look away and a hint that the therapist, the mother and the sisters are all reading from the same script. Nothing is explained, and everything is uncomfortably tidy. Open to everyone for episode 1 and free accounts for episode 2, with tokens from then on.

Inside the frame

A confessional drama staged in a therapist's office, a car and a bathroom with frosted glass. It is more about what everyone allows than what anyone does, and the free portion never goes past a gaze.

Best seen: Suited to viewers who like psychological games, family secrets and heroines who narrate their own bad decisions.
