Kiss My Enemy

Curator’s note

Brooke is a wrestler fighting her way back after a brutal match, and her next opponent is on the payroll to end it. Episode 1 is the backstage warning, the booked plan and an order to fight back. Episode 2 is the finish, with the pin, the count and Brooke's question about why she was allowed to win. The answer involves a contract, a big card thirty days away and a promotion that threatens to retire them both. Two episodes are free, and four more follow for tokens, since this one runs six chapters.

Inside the frame

Ring ropes, locker rooms and a rivalry where nobody agrees on who hates whom. The free part is a duel of glares and holds, and the only thing it concedes is a lingering stare.

Best seen: Fits a night of rivals, sweat and double meanings, preferably with a crowd that does not know the script.
