Mona's Obsession

Curator’s note

Mona and her stepbrother share a house, a hallway and a long history of getting on each other's nerves. His girlfriend Kaylee is, in Mona's opinion, a poor choice, and she says so with a smile. Episode 1 opens on an ambush, a door nobody knocked on and a threat to spill everything. Then episode 2 finds Mona in his bathroom, claiming her own has no hot water, borrows his shirt and keeps teasing, right until Kaylee arrives and the whole house has to behave.

Inside the frame

Shared bathrooms, borrowed clothes and a girlfriend downstairs make a farce with a pulse. The forbidden line is stepsibling, the power play is Mona's smirk. Anyone can press play on the first episode; the second wants a free sign-up. Suggestion does the rest.

Best seen: For anyone who loves a slow-burn rivalry where the insults are really flirting in a very thin disguise.
