Molly's Manipulations

Curator’s note

Nick is about to turn thirty and has come to see his brother Ryan, who is running late. Molly, the fiancee, is in the living room, teaching an online class and happy to correct his posture. She tells him Ryan does not like her touching other people. Episode 1 stays in the stretch, the sweat and a half-finished question. In episode 2, Ryan walks in on an adjustment, Molly shrugs it off, and a chocolate mousse in the kitchen lets her mention, very lightly, that her top is not quite straight.

Inside the frame

A brother's home, a yoga mat and a fiancee who has been told where to stand. The line is the brother, the power play is Molly's easy confidence. The first part streams with no sign-in, the second asks a free one, and nothing goes past a hint.

Best seen: Pick it for a calm, slightly wicked evening when flexibility is the theme and honesty is not.
