Courtney's Secret

Curator’s note

A tenant relocates for a fresh beginning and meets Courtney, wife of his landlord Jamie, within minutes. Episode 1 is a doorstep welcome with soap suds, polite refusals and a narrator who warns us he was never the guest. Episode 2 brings Nicole, who lives along the street, curious about the newcomer and in need of help with something that takes longer than promised. Tattoo stories follow, with the street's reputation quietly building. The suburbs have rarely looked so inviting, and so alarming. Two parts are free.

Inside the frame

A quiet neighborhood where everyone seems to know the plan except the newcomer. The taboo is a landlord's wife, the menace is communal, and the free stretch keeps to teasing chatter and one question about a tattoo.

Best seen: For a golden evening when you want suburban secrets, wry narration and a faint chill under the charm.
