Snowed-In with Stepmom

Curator’s note

Theo fights through heavy snowfall to reach his girlfriend's relatives, and her stepmom, a woman of strong taste, is already studying him. Her cool look says more than hello. Episode 1 settles everyone in: the huge house, the dead trains, a stuck-until-Tuesday verdict and a glass of wine poured generously. Episode 2 opens on a morning after, a witness in the wrong doorway and a countdown of roughly one hundred twenty seconds before everything explodes, with a whispered offer that is very hard to turn down.

Inside the frame

A snowbound house with one hostess, one nervous guest and a girlfriend who senses a draft. The line here is her stepmom, the leverage is isolation. The opener needs no login, the follow-up only a free one, and firelight handles the rest.

Best seen: For the night you want a cozy blanket, a storm outside and a secret that keeps getting more complicated.
