My Stepsister's Slumber Party

Curator’s note

Alma is throwing a sleepover for her college friends, and her stepbrother Ethan has been told he is not invited. He is, however, the one carrying the bags, answering the door and getting caught checking her out. When the guests arrive, one of them notices the stepbrother and says nobody mentioned he was cute. Alma's rule one: no boys, unless she chooses. Episode 1 closes on that rule bending, with Alma's smile suggesting she has made a choice. A curious neighbor is due to turn up later, and the series promises that she will change the night.

Inside the frame

A house full of friends, a stepbrother who is pointedly uninvited and a hostess who writes the rules and the exceptions. Mischief with snacks. The free episodes stay cheeky, pillows and giggles included.

Best seen: Reserved for nights when the guest list matters more than the sleeping bags.
