My Wife Hired My Nurse

Curator’s note

Jake has broken both hands, which complicates nearly everything, and his wife has booked a home nurse she promises will be a grandmotherly type. Mila walks in instead, confident, unhurried and in no hurry to explain. She is a recurring Candy character, so you may meet her elsewhere. Episode 1 is the first morning: introductions, a check on his injuries and a promise of special treatment. Episode 2 brings a call from his wife wanting a progress report, and Mila answers for him with one word: thorough.

Inside the frame

A convalescing husband, a home visit and a wife who thinks everything is under control. Vows are the line being bent, and the helpless patient holds no power at all. Anyone can watch the first visit, the second wants a login, and the camera politely shuts the door.

Best seen: For late evenings when you like a caregiver with a plan, a patient with no hands and a cheerful lie by phone.
