My Bachelor Gift was My Fiancée's Mom

Curator’s note

The fiancée refuses a bachelor party outright, no entertainers and no wild night, and cheerfully keeps her man to herself. Her mother, a notorious free spirit, feels that this is unfair to the groom, so as soon as her daughter leaves for the day she waits by the pool with a surprise. Episode 1 ends on that word. Episode 2 introduces two of her girlfriends, Gemma and Lexi, who make up the guest list, and a gift explained as a wedding present. The fiancée could return at any minute, which the hostess calls the whole point. The groom is asked to prove how much he loves his future wife.

Inside the frame

A sunlit house, a secret party with three hosts and a fiancée who may be heading home. Crossing the forbidden line takes one smile. Both free episodes only hint at the party and stay discreet.

Best seen: Handpicked for the viewer who thinks a bachelor party works best when it is officially canceled.
