Your girlfriend's younger sister

Curator’s note

Mila is clear about her problem from the first line of episode 1: her sister trusts her around the boyfriend, and that is exactly what makes it dangerous. She writes the thoughts down instead of saying them. He reads it, then asks her to quit leaving lines meant for his eyes. By the end he confides that things at home have changed and one particular person fills all his thoughts. In episode 2 the confessions become mutual, a conversation in the car turns into a plan and both admit it is wrong. You may run into Mila again, since she is a Candy regular who appears elsewhere. Ten episodes, the first two free.

Inside the frame

A family household, a notebook and a boyfriend who was never meant to be an audience. The forbidden line is a sister's trust, and the free episodes remain with confessions, pauses and a parked car.

Best seen: For the late-night writer who keeps a diary and knows exactly who the best lines are meant for.
