My Roommates are Thirsty!

Curator’s note

Mona runs the apartment, and her newest tenant is not the only person with a story. Darkangel has also arrived, kicked out of her mother's home following a family scandal. Mona and Darkangel both decide the cute new roommate deserves a proper welcome, and each insists on not sharing. Episode 1 is a rivalry between two charming women with one guest between them. Episode 2 sends them on a hunt with a car wash, a ruined shirt and a very careful strategy about outfits and dessert. You may recognize Mona from elsewhere on Candy. Pick one, they say. He cannot.

Inside the frame

A shared apartment with two ambitious roommates and one unclaimed bedroom. The forbidden line is the house rule against sharing, the competition is fierce, and the free episodes stick to flirting and cheeky banter.

Best seen: Ideal for viewers who like a love triangle played for laughs, and an evening in which nobody behaves.
