Yes Professor

Curator’s note

Bree Whitlock teaches English, and her best student in distraction has a focus problem: his eyes keep wandering from the chalkboard to her. Episode 1 keeps him after class, hands him a retake date and slips in an offer of an after-hours tutorial at nine sharp. Episode 2 takes place after dark with a Shakespeare line, a few commands and the professor's reminder that her husband believes she is busy with a stack of essays. The score is simple: she gives orders, he answers politely. Two episodes are free of charge, and any extra credit sits behind tokens.

Inside the frame

The classroom after hours, where authority is the aphrodisiac and one response is allowed. The free part is a slow study in eye contact, red pen and reading aloud, with the door closed but nothing shown.

Best seen: Late-night viewing for fans of strict teachers, disciplined flirting and the fine art of staying very, very seated.
