I Can See Through Everyone But Her

Curator’s note

Owen sells a few hours of his life for cash and a pill, and by episode 1 he has a superpower and rent due. He smiles at Mrs. Alvarez, flatters her, and discovers that Dr. Larrea, who is running the trial, is the one person his new sight cannot read. Episode 2 turns clinical: nosebleeds, panic and an improvised game in which every mark he identifies on her removes one layer between them. She is calm, correct about the rules and and her husband is the pill's supplier. The clock is ten days. Five episodes, the first two free; the first, as ever, needs no account.

Inside the frame

A university lab, a husband's absence and a secret superpower with an expiry date. The line is clinical and the game has rules; the free episodes keep the reveal playful, never explicit.

Best seen: For anyone who has wished for X-ray vision and would like to read the fine print about the cost.
