Curator’s note

Ryan books a seaside stay for his girlfriend Chloe's birthday and meets the host, who is Riley Reid in her licensed AI incarnation, with no filming by the real Riley whatsoever. Her rules are strict: nothing recorded, footwear left at the door and a shared garden shower. Episode 1 ends with rule four, which nobody enjoys breaking more than she does. Episode 2 brings a birthday girl with a towel, a dinner reservation and a countdown. The house is lovely, the rules are not, and the guest list keeps shrinking. Five episodes, and the first two are free.

Plate I. A couple reach a seaside villa to celebrate a birthday. Riley Reid never set foot here; their host is her licensed AI twin, and she greets them with house rules that grow stranger by the minute. No photographs, no shoes, a shared outdoor shower. The fourth rule, delivered with a grin, is the one nobody expects.

Plate II. The birthday girl stands under the open air shower when the host turns up with a fresh towel and an interpretation of the house code. The boyfriend is called to dinner in ten minutes. His host negotiates the schedule down to half, on one condition involving soap and a very thorough washing.
