The Maid of Honor

Curator’s note

On the big day, the maid of honor, Mila, has a plan: claim the groom before he says his vows. The bride, Emma, is getting ready in the next room, and tradition says he must not see her, which makes the hallway Mila's territory. Episode 1 begins with a tie that needs fixing and ends with a confession: she has had her eye on him from their first meeting. Episode 2 raises the temperature. Emma is right there, a zipper is requested, the bad luck rule becomes a cover and the clock keeps ticking toward the aisle. Nobody here is thinking about flowers.

Inside the frame

A bridal suite split by a single door, with superstition as the alibi. The power play belongs to the sister, patient and shameless. The free episodes stay on teasing, whispers and a ticking clock.

Best seen: For anyone who has sat through a wedding wondering what the real drama in the back room looked like.
