The Nun in Our Guest Room

Curator’s note

Sister Dark Angel is staying in the guest room at Veronica's house until Sunday, when she takes her final vows. The household's son opens the door and promptly forgets how to speak. Episode 1 is a polite tour with a sacred soundtrack: a bag carried upstairs, a compliment about the men at the parish, and a shared prayer that leaves the host wondering what exactly she is asking for. Episode 2 reveals she knew he was watching. Sunday means everything she has not done becomes something she never will, and she intends to spend the week accordingly.

Inside the frame

A cozy family home with a candle, a guest room and a countdown to a lifelong promise. The forbidden line is a vocation, the power play is the sister's, and the free episodes stay with prayer, glances and a long hallway.

Best seen: Recommended for late-night viewers who appreciate sacred and profane in one frame, with a wink and a very quiet hallway.
