Whatever Your Stepmom Says

Curator’s note

Dad is off on business and has left his wife ruling the house and his son. The rule he gives is simple: do what she says. She reads it as an invitation. Episode 1 lays down her house rules like a game show host, one for the phone, one for knocking, and a third she keeps to herself. Then comes a moment at a door that was not quite closed. Episode 2 flips the script: he is the one in the wrong room, she saw it all, she liked it, and rule three finally arrives with an instruction to keep his eyes open. Obey carefully.

Inside the frame

A house with brand-new rules and a stepson unsure which ones are real. Commands and teasing fill the free episodes, and every order comes from his father's wife, who enjoys the job.

Best seen: Meant for those who enjoy being bossed around on screen, with one eyebrow raised and the volume turned down.
