Curator’s note

The best man arrives early to help with a wedding and finds himself in charge of the one task nobody planned for: the bride's dress fitting. Bri sends the groom off off to argue with the caterer, then asks his friend to help with a zipper her fiance never learns. Episode 1 is that fitting, with its long pause and a question about who she was supposed to choose. Episode 2 keeps the dress half off and the groom half upstairs. Both free episodes, the first open to all and the second for free accounts, stay on the near miss, and tokens finish the wedding week.

Inside the frame

A sun-filled house, a gown and a zipper that becomes a plot point. The tension comes from loyalty against desire, with the groom always one staircase away and the free minutes ending on a knock.

Best seen: Choose it for a loyalty crisis in satin, with a ticking clock that sounds a lot like a wedding march.

Plate IEpisode 1

With the wedding near, the best man is the only person in the house with time to help the bride into her dress. The groom is busy with caterers and falls asleep early, so she asks the best man to handle the zipper upstairs. She brings up an old history between them, and her closing question is left hanging.

Plate IIEpisode 2

After dark the best man attempts a dignified retreat from temptation, and the bride keeps reeling him back in. Both agree they should stop; she argues the risk is exactly the appeal. The fiance wanders back in search of his keys, and the final beat is a loaded question about how loyal a friend really wants to be.
