Curator’s note

Daisy arrives at her stepbrother's apartment with Dad's blessing and no intention of behaving. Episode 1 is her entrance: a bright hello, a shower request and an introduction to the girlfriend, who immediately senses trouble. Episode 2 reveals the reason for the visit, a night from the family wedding that Daisy has not filed away. She misses being the secret, and the girlfriend is conveniently in the next room. The series is five episodes, two free, and it treats the word summer as a threat. The first two parts are free to watch.

Inside the frame

A single apartment, a girlfriend a few steps away and a stepsister who savors the danger more than the prize. The line gets stepped over grinning, and the free part stays suggestive rather than explicit.

Best seen: For a bright, mischievous evening when you'd happily root for the troublemaker.

Plate IEpisode 1

A stepsister named Daisy arrives for the summer, announced by her father rather than invited by anyone, and she lands in the middle of a couple's apartment wearing a towel. The girlfriend meets her and is charmed, while the boyfriend's thoughts run in an unhelpful direction. He promises to talk to her, and a knock at the door raises the stakes.

Plate IIEpisode 2

Daisy is the same mischief-maker the boyfriend met at a wedding, and she wants to repeat that night. He protests that he is taken. She replies that the girlfriend sleeping one wall away is the best detail, then proposes one night of rule-breaking before she behaves. She even suggests the girlfriend could be invited along.
