My Neighbor's Husband Works Nights!

Curator’s note

You have scarcely unpacked when Simona knocks about a leak in her kitchen. The repair is easy, and so is the introduction: her husband Jake, who works nights, thanks the new neighbor and asks him to keep tabs on his wife. Then Simona knocks again. In episode 2, after Jake leaves, her shower breaks, spraying water across the room, and the helpful neighbor finds himself soaked beside a married woman. They both know it is a bad idea. Simona also pops up in other Candy series, being a recurring character.

Inside the frame

A corridor, a toolbox and a husband on the night shift. The line is a wedding ring, and the free episodes are all leaks, towels, close calls and a wink or two across the landing.

Best seen: Fits the sleepless viewer who finds a hallway at three in the morning more thrilling than any gallery.
