Bella, my step-daughter

Curator’s note

A wife boards a flight for two days and leaves her husband in charge of Bella, her grown daughter. Bella is an adult, still calls him Daddy out of habit, and has her own ideas about what looking after her should mean. Episode 1 is built from small domestic details that start to feel loaded: dinner for two, a late hallway, a house that is suddenly very quiet. Then the flight gets canceled and the schedule changes. Five episodes, golden hour glow, and Premium from the very first, so the house keeps its secrets from casual visitors.

Inside the frame

A single house and a short window of freedom, with a pet name carrying more weight than anyone admits. The rule being bent is the family one. Premium from episode 1, so the front door stays locked.

Best seen: For a late evening that calls for a taboo setup told slowly, with the clock and the airline both working against virtue.
