My Girlfriend's Twin

Curator’s note

Sofia casually announces a weekend guest: her sister. Then Zoe walks in, and there are suddenly two of them. Zoe teases that she will not make any promises about behaving. Episode 1 is the sibling reunion, borrowed clothes, and a boyfriend counting his sins in advance. Episode 2 heads to the pool, where Zoe requests for sunscreen on her back, since the twins share everything, including, apparently, him. The curator observes that this is the only portrait in the gallery where the composition has a mirror image. The mother is on her way home, which suggests the household drama may be hereditary. Loyalty, meanwhile, is wearing very little.

Inside the frame

A sunny weekend, two identical sisters, and a boyfriend who cannot tell where the flirtation ends. The forbidden line is the family itself. Both free episodes stay at teasing, sunscreen and sidelong glances.

Best seen: A double feature in one frame, best enjoyed by anyone who has ever counted twice and still lost.
