Vampire's Lust

Curator’s note

Driving home late, a decent man stops for a stranded woman with a dead phone and a story about a driver who got pushy. She asks for protection through the night, so he books a motel room and promises to keep watch. Episode 1 is the rescue, and a hint that she is not quite as vulnerable as she sounds. Episode 2 splits the room into two beds, a remark that he smells like the road, and a wedding ring that complicates everything. Two episodes come free, and the later bites cost tokens.

Inside the frame

A road thriller with fangs: a motel room, a promise and a predator who will not feed on the one man who cares. The free episodes keep to dark stares, near touches and a locked door.

Best seen: Late-night company for a gothic mood, a slow motel seduction and a hero who vowed to stay decent.
